Artist Statement

PHILIP EVANS makes thrown and hand built ceramics on site at The Round House Ceramics Gallery located in Foston, South Derbyshire .
Textures are added to his ceramics which are decorated with porcelain slips and underglaze colours. Highlights of gold leaf are added to some pieces. They are fired in an electric kiln to 1200 degrees centigrade.
