Artist Statement

Modern folk through paper and ink.
Bright bold and naive layering of detail on simplicity. Ranging from fantastical
animals to brutal graphic other world landscapes, inspired by my recent move back to the Peaks. I’m fascinated by nature, attempting to capture the ecstatic dance and moments of rapture. Work manifests as glorious meditations in dreaming colour or stark black and white woodcuts or lino prints.
