Artist Statement

After purchasing The Thread Mill in 2014 we set about converting the first floor into a sewing school and craft club, running various classes from sewing to fused glass ,screen printing and much more .We also introduced "Lozzy Loo" a range of handmade bags and cushions for girls .
During the pandemic of 2021, we were forced to pause, and whilst shut, (amongst sewing lots of scrubs ), we went about creating 7 art studios for hire which are now occupied by various artists, collectively known as 'BANKVALE ARTISANS'.
Our craft club runs on a Monday and Friday morning 9.15 till 12 and is a great way to meet new people .
