Artist Statement

A textile artist who enjoys researching and making links before creating a body of work, mainly using natural fabrics with both hand and machine stitch. Having travelled to Japan, she has an extensive knowledge of Japanese textile traditions and techniques along with a collection of vintage textiles which she enjoys using in her work.
Currently exploring mixed media techniques inspired by walks in the area around her home on the edge of the Peak District.
