Artist Statement

I studied my craft in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter and Sheffield. I am now based in Sheffield, England. My artworks are inspired by nature. I believe each jewellery piece has the power to tell you a story, each element has its personality and soul. As a freelance jeweller, I am particularly interested in natural elements, such as plants, rain, snow, and sea creatures. Meanwhile, I also combine other craft materials with silversmithing techniques, such as resin, glass, and leather. Jewellery-making is a very therapeutic process. In the past 5 years, I practiced a variety of jewellery-making techniques, including stone setting, diamond mounting, enamelling, casting, chasing, and silver clay. Currently, I am mainly making silver pieces. I am undertaking commissions for bespoke silver and gold pieces.
