Artist Statement

So much of my waking time is taken up with thinking creatively. Whilst primarily 2 dimensional, painting, drawing, ink work, I enjoy simple book binding, crochet, simple jewellery making, woodwork and also photography. I am blessed and consider it a privilege to have the abilities that I do. To share, and feel connected with viewers and some time purchasers is an extension of that privilege. So the chance to share in an event like DOA is an opportunity to self reflect on my retrospective work, and look ahead to new projects and ideas. I show at my home, and look forward welcoming people into the part of the world where my ideas take form.
