Artist Statement

I’m Marie the maker at Mazzasmonkeys. I am a Textile Artist and Hypnotherapist and spend my time between my 2 passions.
All the Sockys are made from new socks, felt, buttons, recycled hollow fill, gravel, and beads and lots of other bits and bobs. It always amazes me the different types of socks you can get.
It has been said that a socky makes a great travelling companion, very good listeners, great stress relievers and are enjoyed by children and adults alike.
I make my sockys in my studio also know as the "chaos shed". I also have a cabin in the garden which I use for my other passion Hypnotherapy and mind mediation. www.milfordhypnotherapy.co.uk
