Artist Statement

I developed a passion for Ceramics during my Art Foundation Course, and then went on to study for a further three years at Derby University experimenting widely with different glazes and firing techniques.

Drawing on my love of nature and organic form, my work has evolved using underglaze and oxides: burnished and barrel fired, often incorporating 24 carat gold to give them a contemporary twist.
