Artist Statement

I've been at the Clocktower studio for over 2 years now, which has helped me develop my love of drawing and painting, which has sustained me throughout my life. I draw and paint botanical subjects and food still lifes. Largely figurative, and realistic in approach, using traditional methods in oils, graphite and more recently with coloured pencils with a contemporary, and sometimes playful twist. My work has been shown publicly within the UK since 2014 and is in collections in the UK and Europe. In addition, some of my work has been published which has given me greater exposure and provoked interest in the work I produce.
