Artist Statement

Landscape is a constant inspiration to my work, although my responses to it are playful. I am less interested in portraying the land as it is and more interested in generating a response to the sounds, movement, colours and textures that I see. I hope to create work where the viewer can play an active role in the interpretation of what they see.
