Artist Statement

My work is concerned with expressive mark making. I try to create a sense of energy and vibrancy with these gestural marks and to communicate movement or stillness within a living form. I experiment quite a lot with different media and combinations of these, my work sometimes appears quite diverse, but it is always connected by the types of makes I make.
