Artist Statement

As I have developed as a photographer over the last 3/4 years, I have found my work becoming more creative. By applying various techniques, my images often have a sense of ‘movement’ and I am constantly drawn to reflections. I like the viewer to experience something that is not expected, and to spend time with an image. I love to experiment with colours, patterns, textures and shapes.
Inspiration comes from so many different directions, even to the point of engaging with a camera-less process creating cyanotypes on paper and fabric ... with a little help from the sun!
