Artist Statement

Contemporary Landscapes with an element of abstraction are Patricia's passion. Inspired mainly by local landscapes, she also includes elements of vistas from other places throuhout the world that she has visited. Working in Acrylics and mixed media, adding different materials to create drama and texture, Patricia’s paintings are not an exact representation of any one place. She loves to develop the serendipitous flow of paint effects on added textures, giving her work individuality and vibrancy. Can you discover ‘your’ special place in her work?
